🪪 Identity Verification
To maintain a secure environment, all new clients must verify their identity before submitting releases.
We partner with iDenfy to validate your government-issued ID and a real-time selfie. You will not be able to release music until your verification is approved.
If your verification fails, it may be due to:
You must be 18 years or older to verify your ID
Low-quality or expired identification documents
Failure to match your selfie to your ID
If identity verification is not completed successfully after multiple attempts, future attempts may be blocked.
Tips for a Successful Identity Verification
To help make your iDenfy verification smooth and successful, follow these best practices:
Use Your Full Legal Name
Always enter your full legal name exactly as it appears on your government-issued ID. Avoid nicknames, abbreviations, numbers, or symbols.Ensure Good Lighting
Take your selfie in a well-lit space with the light in front of you. Avoid dark rooms, strong backlighting, sunglasses, masks, or anything that could obscure your face.Be Quick but Don’t Hurry
You have up to 10 minutes to complete the verification. Keep your ID ready, but follow the instructions carefully without rushing.Use a Good Camera and Reliable Internet
Poor camera quality or slow internet are leading causes of failed verifications. Clean your camera lens, ensure a strong internet connection, and don’t refresh the browser during the process.Complete the Process on Your Own
For security reasons, complete the process independently without external assistance. This helps protect your personal data and ensures the verification is secure.Have a Valid ID
Accepted documents include passports, ID cards, driver’s licenses, or residence permits. Make sure your document is not expired, damaged, or altered.Choose the Right Document Type
Select the correct type of ID for verification. For example, passports require capturing the full photo page with your personal details and MRZ line visible. ID cards and residence permits require photos of both sides.Capture Passport Details Carefully
Take a clear photo of the main page of your passport showing your picture, personal details, and the MRZ area at the bottom.Photograph Both Sides of Applicable IDs
If your document has information on both sides (like ID cards or residence permits), make sure to capture both sides clearly.Take Sharp, Clear Photos
Ensure your ID fits in the frame, is in focus, and is free from glare or reflections. If the image is blurry, retake the photo until it’s sharp and readable.
Note that iDenfy will reject names containing special characters, numbers, or emojis - users must enter their real legal name to complete verification successfully. (Users must also be 18 years or older to verify their ID.)
